Following PRISMA guidelines, observational studies reporting dyslipidemia prevalence or comparing lipid profiles between congenital heart disease patients and controls were included. Twenty-nine studies involving 22,914 patients and 641,086 controls were analyzed. Reported dyslipidemia prevalence ranged from 14.3% to 69.9%. Quantitative analysis showed significantly lower total cholesterol, LDL-C, and HDL-C levels in patients with congenital heart disease compared with controls, while triglyceride levels showed no significant differences.
